The Poisoned Chalice: Book Launch

Launch of Anne Watson’s book at the Sydney Opera House

 

In the spectacular setting of the Concert Hall north foyer and against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour, The Poisoned Chalice: Peter Hall and the Sydney Opera House was launched on the evening of 31 August 2017. OpusSOH president John Zaat introduced Opera House CEO Louise Herron who welcomed the 150 or so assembled guests, and eminent architect Andrew Andersons AO officially launched the publication. Long-time friend and colleague of Peter Hall, Andersons was well-qualified to speak as he had worked with Hall on the design of the Opera House Forecourt in the 1980s.
